with Rachael Castle

Rachael runs Swallowfields Nursery – a specialist “micro-nursery” - with her husband Martin at Elmsted,  selling at many plant fairs across Kent and the south east. They propagate and grow a range of herbaceous perennials that may have an interesting history, or have unusual leaves, a unique growing habit, or simply perform reliably year after year. 

In this talk Rachael will be taking a look at how to create year-round interest in your garden by planting a range of bulbs, corms and rhizomes, using both popular bulbs and some less commonly grown ones to add colour to your borders.

Rachael and Martin will be bringing plants to sell.
