MHS members’ event
with Jo Arnell
Readers of the Wealden Times will be familiar with Jo’s beautifully illustrated gardening articles. Jo runs gardening courses from her garden in Hornbrook Manor, Woodchurch and is keen to inspire everyone to grow more edibles. She says:
If I was only allowed to keep one part of my garden, it would be the veg patch. It’s an elemental, deep rooted thing to harvest and eat something you’ve grown from scratch – even if it’s just a leaf from a pot of salad or a sprig from some herbs on the windowsill. Whether you’re new to vegetable growing, or a seasoned allotmenteer, I’m looking forward to showing you ways to make the most of your space and to maximise the productivity, flavour and beauty of edible plants.’
We will also be holding a Seedling Swap
