Great Comp Garden, near to Wrotham Heath, is 7 acres of beautiful and rare plants that unfold and flower as the seasons move and change. It is home to an Italian Garden, romantic ruins, enchanting woodland walks and one of the most comprehensive and exciting collections of Salvias in Europe. For refreshments there is the Old Diary Tearooms.
The entrance cost is £8.50 but for over 60's it is £7.50, pay at the gate. Great Comp will take the 2for1 cards from Gardeners World but not as a group. So if you have a card and want to go with a friend, you can pay as you enter and use the card. To sign up email Alison on visits@mardengardeners.uk, giving your name, contact details.
We will aim to meet at 2pm.
As we are asking that you make our own way there, you can arrive when you wish and we look forward to seeing you all as we wander around the garden, or in the teashop. It is 13 miles away and the drive will take about 30 minutes according to Google.
