Tonight, following on from the AGM, Ed Flint will make a welcome return visit to talk to us about shade plants.
Edward (Ed) Flint, formerly a student at Great Dixter and elsewhere. After travels around Europe designing and building gardens he settled some 25 years ago into head gardenership of a private Sussex garden. Here in collaboration with the owners he has developed a contemporary Arts & Crafts style garden with rich borders, wild meadows and cool woodlands. An experienced lecturer and teacher, he is currently a tutor on the Art & Craft of Gardening course at Dixter and a regular lecturer at the English Gardening School.
Also we will be judging the Caryn Bird Photographic Competition ’Wildlife in the Garden’ -£20 token to the winner and £10 token to the runner-up.
