CANCELLED DUE TO SNOW AND ICE
MHS members’ event
Tonight Jane Scotchmer, gardener, traveller and photographer will present an illustrated talk on the garden grotto. A grotto is a natural or artificial cave used by humans in both modern times and antiquity. Sometimes, artificial grottoes are used as garden features. When MHS visited Painshill Park in 2015, we experienced some of the history and mystery of a grotto first hand. It will be fascinating to hear more about the garden grotto phenomenon.
Also Members’ handmade Craft Stall and Christmas drinks and mince pies. Christmas hats/jumpers advised.
Competition - a Seasonal Table Decoration (£10 voucher to the winner).
