Joe is Assistant Head Gardener at Hole Park, one of the best-known gardens in Kent and one with which we are all familiar. In this talk Joe invites us to join him on his horticultural adventure from the renowned Royal Botanic Gardens to the picturesque Kent Weald. He will tell us about working at Kew as a kitchen gardener and about his time at Hole Park, a quintessential English garden, where he tackles a variety of tasks, from pruning wisteria to garden design. This talk is inspired by his monthly blog from his first year as Assistant Head Gardener.
